Can’t find Remote Desktop Connection :(
One of the problems you face with using computers at University libraries and labs is that sometimes Remote Desktop Connection is hidden and since you are not an administrator, you cannot get to it. I’ve faced that problem too many times and then found this really cool piece of software by Devolutions, Inc. called Remote Desktop Manager.
The version that I’ve been using doesn’t even need to be installed. It runs directly from it’s executable within the zip file. It is pretty intuitive and you can easily set it up for your computer. When you hit connect, it will automatically call the associated windows program (Remote Desktop Connection) and voila!, it will connect with ease and no problems with lack of privileges.
The zip file can be found here. (Note: It is a free download from the website. I am just providing it here for your convenience. The devolutions website has the latest version.)

OR you can just do (on windows): Start >> Run.. >> mstsc.exe (return key)
